Meet the Maker: Cailee

Hi, I'm Cailee - the hands, heart, and creative mind behind Paws & Patterns. I'm a lifelong crafter, a dog mom to Kaizer and Koda, and a proud military wife building a cozy, creative life one stitch at a time.

Paws & Patterns began as a small spark- a way to blend my love for sewing, pets, and meaningful handmade details- and it quickly grew into a place where I could pour joy, purpose, and connection into every day.

During seasons when my husband is away for military service, this little business becomes more than a creative outlet. It's a steady rhythm, a source of comfort, and a reminder that beauty can be found in the simplest routines. Every bandana I make carries a piece of that story- the quiet mornings, the late-night sewing sessions, the dogs curled at my feet, and the gratitude I feel for every customer who chooses something handmade.

Kaizer- the Gentle King

Kaizer lives up to his name in every way- calm, confident, and quietly regal. He's the pup who reminds us that the simplest moments are worth celebrating. He loves the cold (a rare treat in Texas), and his favorite pastime is laying in the backyard watching over his "land" and chatting with his neighborhood friends. When he's not on patrol, he's snuggled up with Mom or supervising sewing sessions with peaceful authority.

Koda- The Patchwork Princess

Favorite Things: balls, sticks, zoomies, being with her people

Signature look: vibrant patterns and anything patchwork- she's the ultimate patchwork princess

Koda is our wild girl with the sweetest spirit- playful, loving, and full of spark. She brings the color, energy, and joyful chaos to Paws & Patterns. If bold patterns, bright colors, or fun seasonal prints show up in the shop, she's the reason. She's a true Velcro dog, following me everywhere, laying beside me as I work, and reminding me to take breaks to play. She's silly, affectionate, and a total princess in the best way.
